Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG)

Feedstock Preparation
Paddy straw is shredded and prepared for digestion.

What is the SATAT scheme?
SATAT (Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation) is a Government of India initiative that encourages the production of Compressed Bio-Gas from agricultural and organic waste, and makes it available as a cleaner fuel for transport and industry. Under the scheme, oil marketing companies purchase CBG from producers, creating dependable, long-term demand, and it directly underpins renewable fuels like ours.
The CBG Blending Obligation (CBO) makes 1% mandatory in FY25-26, progressing to 5% by FY28-29.
